Awtad Real Estate Company was founded on 11 November 2003 as a Kuwaiti Closed Shareholding Company. From the first day we've held one focus: to develop, manage, and operate property that earns the right to be there for decades.
Today our portfolio spans two Qiblah towers, three malls, six residential addresses, and a Sabhan industrial estate — each one chosen, designed, and kept up to the same standard.

2004
Our first property
Mubarikiya (Plot 8, Parcel 18) is delivered on 1 January 2004 — sixty days after the company was founded. It set the tone for what an Awtad address means.
2007
Awtad Tower opens
Our flagship lands on Fahad Al Salem Street, Qiblah — and remains our headquarters today. The same year sees the Alusol factory in Sabhan and Jahra Mall Phase 1 delivered.
2017
Going coastal
Bneid Al Qar (Plot 1, Parcel 203) marks our residential push onto the waterfront — and Awtad Ghazah expands the Qiblah portfolio in the same year.
Today
Awtad Central & beyond
Mahboola residential (2021) and our second tower — Awtad Central on Qiblah's Ali Al Salem (2022) — open back-to-back. Twenty years in, we're still investing in what Kuwait City will look like next.
